Family Night at the Temple

We went to the temple for Family Home Evening a few weeks ago only to find that they close the gates at dark. We had to take pictures from the church parking lot next door and didn't get to walk around the grounds as we had hoped. We had fun anyway, and got a couple good pictures despite the cold and dark. We will have to go again sometime before the sun goes down to enjoy the peace that we feel when walking on holy ground. The temple is a symbol to us of our eternal family and reminds us that if we live righteously, we can be together after we leave this earth. I am grateful for a place to go that I can feel Heaven on earth.
