Four-month-old French Fry

We have kids who puke a lot. Well, when they're babies at least. Selah used to do it all the time and now Hyrum is following in her footsteps. I think it's something about baby formula mixed with tiny tummies. But I realize every day, that I really have no clue. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, it keeps happening. And all of my clothes are ruined. I guess I'll buy some new ones in a couple months when the puking stops. I better say this before you all start to worry about my baby, he's gaining weight and happy most of the time, and I think this is just something he needs to outgrow. I am going to take him to the doctor this week though, just for the peace of mind.
Anyway, along with formula and puke comes some not-so-pleasant aromas. The soy formula we are using is especially stinky and Jared recently realized that it smells like french fries. Not good fries, more like the ones that get lost in the mini van for weeks. So Jared nicknamed our baby French Fry. We might call Selah Chicken Nugget if we feel like having a happy meal.

In case you didn't know, all you can do when your life is full of spit up and poop is to find ways to laugh at it. If you can't do that, you end up grumpy and mean (like I was earlier tonight). I'm grateful that Jared reminds me not to take it too seriously. He's pretty great you know.

Wow, spit up and poop.. I think I would get discouraged too. Good for you to remember to laugh though. I'm sure you are such a great mom.

I think Hyrum is smiling in every picture I see of him. What a happy big 4 month old boy. I hope the spit up gets better for you soon. I was lucky, Lexi didn't spit up bad, so I can't really relate. She does like to poop a lot, so I'm with you on that one.

I had a spit-up baby, no fun! Its a good thing they're so cute, it makes the smell easier to live with. Sounds like you have a good attitude about the whole thing. I hope the doctor says evrything is ok!
How was the move? I'm glad you found a place in the ward I was just getting to know you!
