Salt Bread

I am having some issues with the memory card reader, so I haven't been able to upload new pictures and videos. So sorry for those of you who are waiting to see pictures of Selah's hair cut. She looks cute.

On to the current post. Baking bread. I was in the mood to bake bread for weeks and I finally did it a couple weeks ago. The recipe I used is one I have used before and is probably the best bread recipe ever, but the one thing that is weird about it is that it calls for 3 tablespoons of salt. I've always used less without noticing the salt. So this time I figured I'd try it the way it says, I used slightly less than 3 TBSP of salt. The recipe makes a lot of bread, but it was still way too much salt! I ate some of the bread, but it didn't taste good. We ended up wasting about 3 loaves of bread. I tried getting people to mask the salt by adding jelly or something, but once the bread had lost it's "fresh from the oven" appeal, nobody wanted it. I was even planning to bring some to a neighbor, but I didn't dare share my salty bread with them. I am usually pretty successful when it comes to baking, so from now on I will be trusting my instincts on how much salt to use.

At least it was pretty!I let Selah shape a little bit of the dough. She made about four little rolls, here is a picture of two of them.
