Jacks

Emmy did a Twilight Jack-O-Lantern.

Jared's first Jack was this BYU logo, he did an awesome job. We carved on Monday and by Friday morning, Jared & Emmy's pumpkins were growing mold and had to be thrown out. Selah's wasn't as bad because it had big holes instead of mostly shading. We had record highs all week and even with the pumpkins inside, they didn't last long.

Jared made this one on Halloween day.

Our cute little skelleton.

Carving. Check out Jared's technique.

If you enlarge this picture, you can see the dots spelling twilight.

Selah got to choose the design and she had fun scooping out the goup.

I didn't carve a pumpkin this year. I helped Selah with hers and wasn't really feeling like doing another one. I'm excited to use my pumpkin for dinner in a pumpkin instead!

Wow! You guys really get serious with the pumpkin carving, huh? They are amazing. I especially like the Twilight one. I can't wait for the movie :) I saw you walking from Walmart today with little Hyrum (in a babybjorn.) I didn't want to honk and scare the life out of you, and some guy was riding my tail, so I couldn't slow down. We'll have you guys over soon. Lucas' has been working O.T and doing training. I'm like a single mother these days.

Wow, your pumpkins look great! Mine were just your regular triangle eyes & nose with a smile. We had to throw ours out before Halloween too. How have you been? I miss you.
