In front of the fountain and Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. Someday we will take the tour to the top of the tower, but this was not a day for spending money so we skipped it this time. I did learn that the tower is just 1/2 scale and a pretty accurate replica of the real Eiffel Tower. I'm excited to take pictures from the top some time. Oh, and there were naked mermaids in the fountain so we were careful where to stand and what angle to use for this picture. It seemed to be naked statue day on the strip because there were tons at Caesar's Palace. I don't know what the deal is with the women of those times needing to show off their breasts, but it's not my favorite kind of art.

I thought this was the cutest daddy/daughter picture! Selah hadn't slept and Jared hadn't eaten, but they had a good little play time anyway. We took a little break outside of Caesar's Palace so I could rest my feet and Selah could get out of the stroller for a few minutes. Walking around all these huge casinos really takes it out of me. My feet which are normally size 8-8 1/2 have been swollen for a while now (pregnancy related for those of you lucky enough to have never dealt with this problem) and can pretty much just wear flip flops. My feet were killing me with all the walking and Jared had to go slow so that I could keep up. You know being pregnant isn't too bad, but it really does slow me down. It makes me feel like a total wimp that I can't walk across the street without feeling winded. I was wishing for one of those motorized scooter things or a wheelchair or something. It did feel good to get some exercise though.
So there are some free things to do on the strip, but everything is so spread out and you have to know where you're going or you end up walking around wondering what you're looking for. We need to get one of those tourist guides I keep seeing people walking around with. I think that just choosing a few places to go makes it a lot easier than trying to see everything all at once. We learned that parking is free (at least on a weekday) at the Paris Las Vegas. That info may come in handy later. It was $2 to park at the Showcase mall last time we went.

You're not a wimp, you're totally buff because you're carrying around an extra human in your uterus.
Hey there autreys!
Jes you're so good on posting. You're my example to do better. I'm going outside right now to take pictures of the fence. uh...yeah~Love ya Crossley
It all looks like so much fun! Glad Las Vegas is treating you well. Good luck with Jared finding a job. I know that can be frustrating.
Love the blog! Gald you found mine:) I too am adding you to ours. Looks like Vegas is good.
How are you feeling? I hate it when my feet get swollen because of being preggers. No fun. It looks like you guys are having fun in Vegas! So many fun things (and not so fun things) for Selah to see :)
Jes~
I totally understand the swollen feet. I feel like I walk on balloons for the last 3 months of my pregnancies.
Thanks for the info on the parking...we may use it. I think we are staying at a Hilton close to the strip...I don't really know, Travis does. :)
You sound like all is going well. Way cute pictures!
Hey, I am glad you are doing well. I hope it does not get to hot in vegas for you jess. I was pregnate and living in arizona for the last four months of my pregnancy, so I know how it goes. Anyways, good luck in school. I am so excited that you have a blog. now I can really see what you are up too. Have an awesome day! Selah is adorable!
