Temple Square

We spent some time at Temple Square while we were in Utah a couple weeks ago visiting with the Autrey Great Grandparents. We wanted to see the Joseph Smith movie at the Legacy Theatre because we hadn't seen it yet. We also took a tour of the Conference Center since Selah had never done that. We ate lunch at the Nauvoo Cafe inside of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. They had great Chicken Pot Pie that really hit the spot. We got some good pictures of the temple and Moroni, we won't share them all here. Jared loves taking pictures of temples. Here we are standing by a statue of the First Vision after the Joseph Smith movie. Selah didn't do so well during the movie so I missed the last 15-20 minutes. It's okay though because when I took her out we looked at this statue and she told me who each person was and then said she wanted to hug Joseph Smith. It was cute.
Jared's creative shot of Moroni through the trees.

This was a shot we don't normally get of the Salt Lake Temple. I love the color of the changing leaves.
From the observation area in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.

Selah looking at Joseph Smith. Lately she's been camera shy.
Resting my puffy pregnant feet.

Selah loved running around on the roof of the Conference Center. It was the perfect day for pictures up there.
