Ty's Football Injury

I mentioned a couple weeks ago that we had been to a couple of Ty's football games. Well, his team has had some unfortunate luck with players getting injured. Since their offensive line is non-existant, their quarterbacks get hurt one after another. The first guy broke both of the bones in his leg. Luckily the next guy was only out one game. This week Ty got a chance to show what he was made of. We had to be there to support Ty in this position. Ty made some great plays and they started doing much better. Then some chump sacked him by pulling his legs out from under him so he couldn't brace himself for the fall. He got up and was okay, but after the next play he had a sharp pain in his foot and had to be carried off the field. Jared carried him to the car, something that Jared wished I had gotten a picture of and Ty is glad that I didn't. Selah thought it was pretty cool. His foot looks as broken as can be, but the x-rays seem to disagree. We'll see if he gets to play next week or not.

This is my view from the stands of Jared looking to see if Ty is okay.

Ty is number 7, here he is before the injury. He's one of the best players on the team...even I can see that. Some of his teammates seem to be afraid of getting pushed around, not a quality you look for on the football field. Ty is tough though.
