Leaves

Here are a couple pictures of Selah when she was about 15 months old playing with some fallen leaves.

Below are some pictures of Hyrum from Saturday, 8 months old, also playing with leaves. I wanted to take these because I remembered how cute it was when we took pictures of Selah with leaves. He's at such a fun discovery stage. Everything is interesting and he's learning to manipulate objects with his hands. Plus I just love his chubby baby-ness. I wish the pics of Selah were from the same age, but when she was 8 months old, it was still snowy in McCall. (He probably still weighs more than she did at 15 months though, and I but they're wearing the same size clothes in these pictures.)

He's so proud of himself!

Hyrum's been playing with his tongue a lot. I think he's feeling his teeth with it. He is also drooling tons again, I can't tell which teeth are trying to come in though. He has six teeth now and likes to bite anything he can get his mouth on. My cheeks are probably the favorite, but he likes my stomach too.
He has learned a couple more words: duck, yeah, and he said more for the first time today. Selah does this funny thing that makes him laugh and he's trying to figure out how to imitate her. I was trying to get it on video today, if it turned out, I'll try to post it. (It's hard to explain in writing.) I rarely post videos because it takes longer than I like to wait when I'm posting, but I want to do that more.
