What is his name? Jared
How did you meet? We were both in the Cherry Hills (Singles) Ward, in Littleton, CO. We first met at a party, but didn't really remember until later, then after a fireside I invited him and some other people to my housewarming party. He didn't come though because he couldn't remember if my name was Jes or Jen (that may not have been the only reason, but it's the funny one). We ended up hanging out in groups and it gradually turned into more...How long have you been married? 4 years, 1 month, and 8 days
How long did you date? A few months, then we were engaged for a few more months
How old is he? The big 26 today! Wow, he's getting old!
Who eats more? What a funny question....he has the bigger appetite.
Who said "I love you" first? This is a funny story. I did, but he thought he was imagining it, so he didn't respond and I felt like a big doofus. Then he ended up saying it and thought he was going out on a limb, but I was thinking, "Oh, good, I'm not a doofus!"
Who is smarter? Jared is really smart, he's great with numbers, and loves to read. He keeps up on the music scene and has an amazing memory. But just because he's smart doesn't mean I'm not. I don't think that one of us has to be smarter than the other, there are all kinds of things to be knowledgeable about. We both stink at Trivial Pursuit though.
What is something you really like about him? He's always thinking about me. He's great at making sure I know he loves and cares about me. He can also always make me laugh (and always tries to when I'm in a bad mood).
Whose temper is worse? I don't know, we're both pretty good at keeping our temper at bay. I guess he gets frustrated easier, but he's pretty mellow most of the time.
Who does the dishes? I do, usually.
Who does the laundry? He does, usually.
Who pays the bills? He does.
Who cooks dinner? I do.
Who drives when you are together? We used to always take turns, but it's slowly gotten to where he drive automatically unless I'm taking him to work or picking him up.
Who is more stubborn? I don't really think either of us is very stubborn. At least we don't let it show very much.

Whose parents do you see the most? His, because we live closer now, we used to see mine more when we lived in McCall.
Who proposed? He did, with an adjustable CTR ring. We were getting in the hot tub at my apartment complex. He told me it stood for Crappy Temporary Ring and that I only had to wear it until we could get the real one (his grandma's old ring). It ended up only having to last until the next day after church.
Who has more friends? Umm.....on facebook, he does because I'm older. He had way more friends in high school and I've had more friends since so I think it might be pretty even.
Who has more siblings? I do. He's the oldest of six, I'm the second of nine.
Who wears the pants in the family? We share them. (I get one leg and he gets the other.)
Who is taller? He is 6'4", I think I'd die if I were that tall!
Who sings better? He does, for sure.
Who is first to admit when they did something wrong? I don't know, we make so few mistakes that it's hard to say. :) Actually, we don't fight very much, and we are pretty good about not holding grudges. We both try to say sorry right away when we say or do something we shouldn't have.
Any special message for your hubby? I love you Jared! Thanks for being my best friend and having fun with me all the time. I couldn't have found someone better for me. I love that we get to learn and grow as we struggle together. I love the way we are able to remind each other and lift each other when life gets tough. You really are my perfect husband. Thank you for all that you do for us, especially the way you live the gospel and set an example for me. You're wonderful!
Happy Birthday!
