1. What is your favorite birthday memory?
Besides exiting the womb... the one birthday I spent on my mission was a very memorable one. We were soooo busy the entire day with lots of service and other fun things. We taught primary and church, spoke in sacrament meeting and sang in another ward, put on a fireside in the evening, taught discussions and had dinner with one of my favorite mission families, the Buckners. I loved it! This has been a pretty great birthday also... I got to spend time with my awesome family, received lots of nice phone calls throughout the day and worked with rad people that I get to hang with everyday!
2. What lesson from childhood has stayed with you the most?
Ummmm... that a good question. The one that pops into my mind first is the lesson about peer pressure. My parents told me that there would be people that would want me to give in to things that I knew I shouldn't do. They told me that if I made the decision right then that I would not give in when those moments presented themselves, I wouldn't have to make the choice on the spot. I'm extremely grateful for parents that taught me such a valuable lesson when I was probably no older than 5. I still remember my choice way back then today.
3. What lesson from your life have you leaned on the most throughout your life so far?
I'm going to be broad and say exercising faith. I don't think I have a whole lot of faith sometimes, but I know that miracles have occurred when I've exercised that Heavenly power. If you ever want a story on the miracles of faith, just ask and I will tell you one. I hope my faith will grow as I get older.
4. What 5 things do you want to do before you die?
In no particular order: finish college, write/have a book printed, take a tour of the Church's history, play with my grandkids, hold my wife's hand some more
5. Who has been the most influential in making you who you are today?
I don't know if I can name one mere mortal... so I'm going to say Christ... I have a personal relationship with my Savior that I wish was better. But, because of so many good people in my life who do good things, I know Him better than I did.
6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
This is one of those questions that I've never been very good at answering... and by never I mean still. I really don't know. Five years ago I probably wouldn't have seen myself in Vegas, married with two kids working for a financial institution. So I'm going to make this easy so that I will actually guess correctly this time: I will still be a male who likes listening to types of music and loves things.
7. In 10 years?
Ditto question 6.
8. What do you want to do when you retire?
Retire?... from what?... professional sports? I want to drink Tree Top apple juice from the Stanley Cup. But if that never happens I would still love to go on a mission with my wife and maybe even two or three or more...
9. Looking back on your life so far, what do you think is most important to teach your children?
What's right and wrong.
10. You just turned 26, what are you going to do next?
I'm going to turn 27. And I'm hopefully going to do lots of great things with my great family and great other people that I love. Any more questions?

This is so true and probably one of the lessons that I remember most to.
