It looks like he's sitting up well, but I kept having to catch him so he would stay up for the picture (Jared was taking it). Such a cutie though! He's growing so fast.

Eating pudding. This is the, "Hey, don't take a picture of me!" face.

All the stuffed animals that Selah plays with every day. She likes to have "parties" with them. She piles them all on a blanket and plays. Sometimes everyone gets "treats." She loves pretend games and instead of imaginary friends, chooses characters from her favorite shows (Dora, Kai Lan, and others) and says they are coming over to hang out with her or eat dinner with us. It reminds me of all the teasing I got growing up because of my imaginary friends. I was the same age as she is now and had two friends, both female, named Kaniga and Conda, though I'm not sure how to spell their names. I would always say they were from Fran San Sisco. When my baby brother was born, they had a baby too. I remember comparing it to Big Bird and Mr. Snuffleupagus when all the other characters thought he wasn't real. I'm not sure if my friends left just before anyone entered the room, or if I pretended they were there when nobody else could see them. Selah has also started making little family groups with the animals. Quinnen, the Giraffe is Joes' and the tiger's mommy (somehow we still call Quinnen he though), and Buzz and Jessie got married, etc. Quinnen is the big giraffe, Cracka is the small giraffe, Joes is the panda, Tourni is the horse (and sometimes the tiger too), the red dog and the dark brown bear are both named Corn. I have no idea where these names came from. But I know I will always think of this time in my daughter's life with a smile because of her creative, fun personality. She's so good at entertaining herself!

Kicking it in the playpen.

Wearing Uncle Travis' hat.
I just have to say how much I love these two little people. They are so sweet and fun. I allow myself to get stressed out too often lately. In truth, I am so blessed to have them in my life; to be their mommy is a gift. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm grateful for the things they are teaching me, the things I'm learning from this role called mother. I'm learning a little more about who I really am. Thanks kiddos, I love you!

Thanks for sharing all those memories and stories. I love blogging so that I can remember all the things that Hannah and the boys do. I wish we had blogs when my boys were little. I was not good at keeping a journal and I've forgotten so many things.
I love Selah's animals. They are so cute and that picture of her in Uncle Travis' hat is perfect!
I agree with you that I wouldn't trade being a mommy for anything. It's the best thing in the world!
